Prayer, Round 2

My first day working on this project, I prayed for God to use the story and I had the idea to switch the time period, which magically fixed my writer’s block. It was amazing!!! And part of me, though extremely thankful, felt a little skeptical that it could be a coincidence. I had enough faith to believe God had something to do with it, though.

So now the project is nearly due, and the end still needs to be completely redone. I have been worried this whole week because what I want the end to be and what was being typed on the page were not the same thing. So I prayed about it, and things ever so slightly became more clear.

Then today rolled around, and I absolutely had to get the ending done. I tried reordering the story, but I still didn’t know how to get the right conversations going. I was getting desperate and prayed, “God, please give me an idea of what to do!” I started writing again. And lo and behold if God didn’t start giving me ideas again!! Call it coincidence if you want but that’s happened TWICE!!! That seems significant to me!

So I just wanted to take a moment to thank God for being faithful even when we don’t think He is! If God can be faithful in these little things, surely He is being faithful in the big things, too!
